Privacy Policy
At Bruidswarenhuis you entrust us with your most personal words. That comes with clear agreements about your data.
Last updated: August 4, 2026
1. Who is responsible?
Bruidswarenhuis is a service of Point2Create BV, Energieweg 1, 3133 EB Vlaardingen, Nederland, KvK 63324547. For all privacy questions you can reach us at office@psily.net.
2. What data do we process?
- Account data — name, email address, phone number, language and password (encrypted storage).
- Your messages and media — the texts, photos, audio and video recordings you prepare, plus the delivery times you choose.
- Contact details of your loved ones — the names and contact details you enter to enable message delivery. You are responsible for ensuring you may share that data.
- The Digital Vault — the content is already end-to-end encrypted in your browser. Bruidswarenhuis can never read the contents of your vault.
- Your AI Clone — only if you use that feature: your recorded interview and the resulting voice and character description built from it. For this we ask your separate, explicit consent.
- Payment data — payments are processed via our payment provider (Stripe). Bruidswarenhuis never sees or stores your card details.
- Technical data — IP address and page views, briefly retained for security and visitor statistics.
3. What do we use your data for?
Solely to make Bruidswarenhuis work: manage your account, securely store and deliver your messages at the right time, process payments, answer your questions and secure and improve the service. We never sell your data and do not use it for third-party advertising.
4. On what basis?
We process your data to perform our agreement with you (your account and your messages), based on your consent (the AI Clone and non-essential cookies), due to legal obligations (administration and invoices) and based on legitimate interest (security and abuse prevention).
5. Who has access?
Our employees only to the extent necessary for support. We also carefully select processors: hosting and storage within the EU (AWS, Frankfurt region), Cloudflare for security and speed, Stripe for payments, SMS and email service providers for delivery, and AI service providers for speech recognition, translation, voice synthesis and text generation — solely for the features you use. Processing agreements are in place with all processors; for transfers outside the EEA, appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses apply.
Emphatically, so there is no misunderstanding:
Nobody can see, open or read your messages. Only yourself — the creator — and, from the moment of delivery, the recipient the message is intended for. Neither the employees nor administrators of Bruidswarenhuis can read or open your messages, nor can they access any other information from your account.
After your death your account is completely locked. Your messages are then delivered exactly as agreed at the times you have chosen, and nobody — not even the Bruidswarenhuis administrator — can open or unlock the locked account.
6. How long do we retain your data?
As long as your account exists, because that is precisely what Bruidswarenhuis is for: storing messages until the moment of delivery — sometimes years later. If you delete your account, your data is deleted, except for what we are legally required to retain (such as invoices). Technical log files we retain briefly.
7. How do we secure your data?
Encrypted connections (https), encrypted storage, an encrypted backup every hour, access restrictions and continuous monitoring. The digital vault is also end-to-end encrypted: only the recipient you choose can open the contents with three separate keys.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, deletion, restriction, portability of your data and to object to processing. Portability is self-service with us: via Settings → "Download all your data" you can export all your messages, media and data as ZIP at any time. You can always withdraw consent (for example for the AI Clone). Mail to office@psily.net and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can lodge a complaint with the Authority for Personal Data.
9. Cookies
Bruidswarenhuis uses functional cookies that are necessary to make the site work (such as your language choice and your login session). We only place statistics cookies (Google Analytics) after you have given permission for this via the cookie notice; you can always change that choice.
10. Continuity — what if Bruidswarenhuis ever stops?
If Bruidswarenhuis ever ceases to exist, a fixed procedure applies: everyone receives at least 6 months advance notice. During that period, every user can export all their data, recipients can download the messages addressed to them (including not yet delivered — clearly marked with the intended time by the sender), and trusted buddies can preserve sealed packages for recipients without an account. Those packages are standard encrypted ZIP files, to be opened with free software and the reserve key available per contact — so no Bruidswarenhuis software is needed and nothing is lost.
11. Changes
If we change this statement, we will place the new version on this page with a new date. For important changes, we will inform you actively.
