1. Who are we?

Bruidswarenhuis is a service of Point2Create BV, Energieweg 1, 3133 EB Vlaardingen, Nederland, KvK 63324547, reachable via office@psily.net. These terms apply to all use of the Bruidswarenhuis website and system.

2. What is Bruidswarenhuis?

Bruidswarenhuis preserves messages, media and wishes and delivers them at the moments you choose — a date, an occasion, or after your passing. Additional features include the digital vault, the video diary, gift delivery, funeral and will wishes and the AI Clone.

3. Your account

You are at least 16 years old and provide correct, current information. You keep your login details secret and report abuse immediately. For delivery after your passing you designate trusted buddies; keep their information current, as delivery also depends on their confirmation.

4. Free and Premium, prices and payment

A basic account is free. Premium is available as a monthly subscription (cancellable monthly), annual subscription or one-time payment for lifetime use; there is also a family account with a fixed price per additional person. All prices are on the pricing page and include 21% VAT. Payments are made from your wallet balance and/or via our payment provider. Price changes never apply to already paid periods.

5. Right of withdrawal

As a consumer you have 14 days to reconsider an online purchase. If you request immediate delivery of a digital service at purchase and it has been fully delivered (such as immediately activated Premium features or an immediately redeemed credit), the right of withdrawal expires for that part — you confirm this at purchase. For withdrawal, please contact us via office@psily.net.

6. Delivery of your messages

Bruidswarenhuis makes every effort to deliver your messages at the chosen moment, with multiple safeguards (lifesigns, trusted buddies, reminders). Delivery also depends on factors beyond our control, such as the accuracy of contact details and the cooperation of your trusted persons. Therefore keep your information current.

7. Your content

Everything you store with Bruidswarenhuis remains yours. You give us only the technical license necessary to store, process and deliver your content as you have set it. You do not place content that is unlawful, infringes the rights of others or is harmful; in case of misuse we may remove content or terminate the account.

8. The AI Clone

The AI Clone is built with your explicit consent, based on your own recordings. Conversations with an AI Clone are always clearly recognizable as AI. You decide who has access and can always have the AI Clone and underlying data deleted. Answers from an AI model may contain inaccuracies; no rights can be derived from them.

9. The digital vault

The vault is end-to-end encrypted: Bruidswarenhuis has no access to the content and cannot recover it if the passphrase is lost. Safely storing and passing on the passphrase to your recipient is your responsibility.

10. Availability and liability

We maintain Bruidswarenhuis carefully (encrypted backup every hour, continuous monitoring) but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Except in cases of intent or gross negligence, our liability is limited to the amount you paid to Bruidswarenhuis in the 12 months before the event. Nothing in these terms limits rights that are mandatorily granted to you as a consumer.

11. Should Bruidswarenhuis cease operations

We commit to the following procedure in case of termination, sale or bankruptcy of the service. You will receive notice at least six months in advance by email at all addresses known to us. During this period you can export all your data, the recipients you have designated can download the messages addressed to them — including those not yet delivered, with a clear indication of the moment you intended — and trusted buddies can hold sealed packages for recipients without their own account. These packages are standard AES-encrypted ZIP files that can be opened with free software such as 7-Zip using the backup key; so Bruidswarenhuis software or assistance is never needed. In case of a takeover, these obligations transfer to the acquiring party. After those six months, all data is permanently destroyed, including backups; what is held by an external processor is also deleted there. The end-to-end encrypted contents of the digital vault can never be viewed or transferred by us in any case — it can only be opened with the keys you have distributed yourself.

12. Termination by you or by us

You can delete your account at any time. We can terminate an account for serious breach of these terms, after warning where that is reasonable. Provisions that by their nature continue (such as liability) remain in effect after that.

13. Changes and applicable law

We may change these terms; we announce important changes in advance and they are dated on this page. Dutch law applies to these terms; disputes are submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer. See also our privacy statement.
